Star Wars: The Last Jedi - Storms of Crait

The title of the newly announces one-shot Star Wars comic may sound like it's set in the new era of films, but surprisingly, it isn't. It is actually set during the Galactic Civil War - the original trilogy era. With a title like Star Wars: The Last Jedi - Storms of Crait, you can forgive any confusion.

Written by Ben Acker and Ben Blacker with art from Mike Mayhew, Storms of Crait will send Luke Skywalker and Leia Organa on a mission to Crait to explore a hidden Rebel base. The story will reveal Crait's history, which will play into its film appearance in Star Wars: The Last Jedi.

"We're excited for the opportunity to tell this story. Tying the new sequel series in more tightly with the original trilogy era, and helping make the galaxy far away a little more fleshed out. The Bens are a great fit for Star Wars, as they showed in Join the Resistance, and Mike has done such great work on both covers and the Obi-Wan issues of the flagship Star Wars title, that we couldn't be happier to have him back doing art for us."

Star Wars: The Last Jedi - Storms of Crait is due out on shelves on the 27th December, just after the theatrical release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi on the 15th December.
