2000 AD Prog 2451 Preview: Red Dragon Returns!
Reading time: 3 minutes
2000 AD Prog 2451 signals the exciting return of a cult-favourite character: Red Dragon. Longtime Squaxx will immediately recognise the cover star. He was first introduced in Zenith, Grant Morrison and Steve Yeowell's pioneering superhero saga that debuted in 2000 AD in August 1987. This UK-centric story of a spoiled superbrat and his fight against an interdimensional enemy became one of the Galaxy's Greatest's most cherished and acclaimed strips. The new series delves deeper into the tragic past of Siadwell Rhys, aka Red Dragon. Writer Rob Williams collaborates with Yeowell and Patrick Goddard to explore his history with Cloud 9 and the mystery surrounding journalist Martin Howe's investigation in 2025.
Add to that four continuing stories, and it's pure zarjaz! Judge Dredd, Void Runners, Rogue Trooper and Brass Sun all continue on from last week's madness. There's just so much to look forward to this issue.
