Rocket Raccoon takes center stage on Free Comic Book Day

Rocket Raccoon strikes again in a Free Comic Book Day offering from Marvel. The previously announced book was set to be a Guardians Of The Galaxy story, this may have something to do with the movie launching in theaters three months after the event. The offering has some really interesting talent attached, it is written by longtime inker Joe Caramagna and pencilled by Adam Archer of recent digital comics fame. The news initially broke earlier this morning on CBR, here is the initial description given from Marvel regarding the tale,
Rocket Raccoon is a wanted mammal, and he’s out to clear his bounty – by any means necessary! And you’ll never believe how!
The book will also have a "hidden all-ages Marvel gem featuring the Avengers and the Guardians of the Galaxy."
The unlikely duo is set to chronicle the adventures of the favored Raccoon on May 3rd, 2014.
