Marvel's 2014 Event is Unveiled as Original Sin

Marvel unveiled the secret Watcher project that they have been teasing for sometime now via USA TODAY. The story is actually now announced as an event formally entitled Original Sin. The tale is billed as a murder mystery written by Jason Aaron and drawn by the one and only Mike Deodato. The Marvel universe is trying to figure out who killed Uatu the Watcher. The series is hitting store shelves in May and will take place over the span of eight installments shipping over four months, meaning that the comic is indeed bi-monthly. Nick Fury leads a group of Avengers to the moon, where they find out that in addition too killing Uatu, someone also took the powerful artifacts belonging to the fallen hero. Also announced in the paper that Mark Waid and Jim Cheung are going to launch a zero issue for Original Sin debuting in April, which will act like a prelude exploring the relationship between the Watcher and the Sam Alexander incarnation of Nova.
Jason Aaron made sure to mention to readers that the book is,
not a game of Clue, It's not just about guessing which one of these five people pulled the trigger. There's a bigger overall mystery than that.
The prelude is shipping in April, while the main book will be on store shelves in March.
