HAGBOUND is a new comic zine by the incredible Lucy Sullivan. It is a short story that explores the concept of the Hag and the societal boxes that older women are placed in.
HAGBOUND is based on Lucy's research for her upcoming comic SHELTER: Mother's Ruin, but it is also a standalone work. Hagbound debuted at the Thought Bubble Festival in Harrogate, UK, in November 2023.
The zine debuted at Thought Bubble on the weekend, and the limited remaining stock is now available through Lucy's website, lucysullivanuk.com. So you'll want to get on this quick as only 200 were made!
Drawn from archive footage and written as Lucy searched for her ‘monster-in-cardigan’ in the faces of London's women for her new project SHELTER: Mothers Ruin.
