Judge Dredd Megazine 478 this month features the start of a brand-new four-part series: Atomfall. Serving as a prologue to Rebellions' newest video game, out this month, it's a very British post-apocalyptic action-survival epic set in the fictional 1950s village of Wyndham after a nuclear disaster.

There is also the final parts of Riley's Rebels, Devlin Waugh, and Fargo & McBane. Lawless will take a break for a few months before resuming later this year.

The Megazine is also celebrating a significant anniversary - not only is this the Megazine's thirty-fifth birthday, but it's also thirty years since the release of the Sylvester Stallone-starring Judge Dredd film, which premiered in the UK in July 1995. To commemorate this occasion, the official comic adaptation by Andy Helfer and Carlos Ezquerra is being reprinted this month for the first time in decades.
