Time Bomb Comics Unleashes The Baker Street Irregulars

The stars of Quantum have their first full-length adventure in Dee's Angel!
Time Bomb Comics is delighted to announce a new title hitting Kickstarter: a full-length adventure for The Baker Street Irregulars. This will mark the first of three planned 70+ page stories about the BSI, to be published under David Morris' Corvus Press Imprint.
Spinning out of an ongoing story in the Quantum anthology, the BSI is an adventure story which spans from World War Two to the current day and from sci-fi to horror to spy fiction. Sanctioned by Winston Churchill during the 2nd World War, the Special Operations Executive was headquartered at 64 Baker Street, London and nicknamed "the Baker Street Irregulars" after Sherlock Holmes's fictional group of spies.
Created by David Morris, the past adventures of the BSI have run monthly in Quantum. More recently, a special stand-alone story was released at 2024's Malta Comic Con, with the plot set partly in Malta. Dee's Angel, a new, 80-page and full-colour story, will be produced by David, with Patrick O'Connor joining as co-plotter and inker.
Dee's Angel is an origin story for the BSI, and sees them face a typically genre-bending challenge. Drawing on the real history of John Dee, mathematician, geographer, government agent, astrologer, alchemist and advisor to Queen Elizabeth the 1st, this story sees a mysterious 'angel' summoned by Dee return to earth in 1986. As the last line of defence between Earth and forces from beyond, the BSI are called into duty.
Speaking on why this is the right story for their first full-length adventure, Patrick spoke about how the Malta story had helped "plant a footprint for the BSI internationally", and how he is now looking forward to the solo BSI title:
"This is a grand commitment, scary but exciting and most of all self-satisfying to have all our hard work under one title, in one place."
