Superman/Batman announced by Warner Bros

The greatest news ever to come out of Comic-Con International came out today - Warner Bros announced a live-action Superman/Batman film. Maybe a Justice League film isn't going to work out. Maybe not a bad thing if it doesn't, as casual fans are more likely to buy into a Superman/Batman film than a Justice League film.
"I know there's been a lot of speculation about what we're doing," Snyder said. "It is official that we're going to make another Superman movie." He teased that "there's one particular part of the film I might be able to help you out with."
Harry Lennox, who played General Swanwick in Man of Steel, joined the panel to read something. "We're not adapting this thing," Snyder said, "but it will help us tell you something."
"I want you to remember, Clark, in all the years to come, in all your most private moments, I want you to remember my hand at your throat," Lennox read, quoting Frank Miller's "Dark Knight Returns." "I want you to remember the one man who beat you."
Then they showed the Superman shield within a Bat symbol. Nothing else needed to be said, the panel wrapped leaving fans knowing that they've just witnessed the greatest piece of news ever to come out of Comic-Con.
