Superman/Wonder Woman #1

Author: Ben Williams

Reading time: 1 minute

October 2013 will mark the month where the world’s most powerful and famous superhero couple (Lois isn't a superhero so doesn't count) will kick off their own all-new series. Superman/Wonder Woman is being written by Charles Soule (Red Lanterns, Swamp Thing) along with artist Tony Daniel (Action Comics, Justice League).

The series won't just focus on these two though as there'll be an extended cast. But don't get disheartened about why they need their own series, with Superman not only staring in his own series, but also Justice League, Action Comics and Batman/Superman to name a few. This is two icons together and the series will allow more focus on their relationship. Wonder Woman kind of takes a back seat to Superman and Batman, so this series brings her more to the front and could bring her more fans. And with talk in recent years of a Wonder Woman film or TV series, more exposure for her can only be good.

Tony Daniel is a fantastic artist, so you know that this will be beautifully drawn for as long as he's involved. Should definitely be worth picking up.
