Comic Book fans and historians have been waited with baited breath for Miracle Man to make a return to the industry for ages. The British hero has been stuck under legal drama for years, making his eighties comic book series incredibly expensive and sought after by the entire industry. Seminal work by comic maestro Alan Moore, has been lost in this series that has not seen print in over twenty years. Fret no more as Marvel announced in a video at New York Comic-Con that the legendary series is finally going to see print. Check out some quotes below from the esteemed Neil Gaiman himself.

The tragedy of Miracleman was that we published two issues, wrote three and a half – and then it all stopped. Miracleman #25 has been sitting in the darkness, nobody’s seen it, I love the idea that it’s finally going to be seen. big, incomplete book of my life.

David Gabriel, the SVP of publishing also had this to say.

the Marvel Special Projects team have even been developing some new techniques specifically for this project. These Miracleman issues will receive the most advanced restoration possible to ensure the most authentic reading experience. The art is crisp, clear, and looks as good – if not better than the day it was published! Also, the stories are being completely relettered to meet today’s standards.

Miracle Man is going to be reprinted with issue #1 in January.
