2000 AD Prog 2103 Preview
Reading time: 3 minutes
By now every fan of comics should be well aware of the the sad news that Judge Dredd and Strontium Dog co-creator Carlos Ezquerra died on 1st October, which has left both fans and creatives reeling. He was a pivotal figure in British comics for the last forty-plus years, and his influence on the Galaxy's Greatest Comic was immense. As these Progs are written up two weeks in advance, there's been no mention of this in last two Progs, but this weeks pays a little tribute to him with a one page obituary. Why little? Well, his influence was so huge it would be a crime to rush something like this and you know that everyone at 2000 AD will be feeling this, and so there will be a full obituary in the November Meg which is bound to be beautiful, to celebrate the memory of one of the true greats.
