Valiant launches Mission: Improbable
Reading time: 1 minute

Valiant announced a crossover with two pillars of the Valiant Universe that have not quite matched up thus far. The members of the Harbinger War have been fairly separate from Archer and Armstrong regarding the wider scope of the planet. That all comes crashing down in March when Archer and Armstrong crosses into Bloodshot and the Hard Corps and the wider universe with the newly announced Mission: Improbable event. IGN reported that the crossover is set to debut with Archer and Armstrong #18 then continue with Bloodshot and H.A.R.D. Corps #20. The crossover is going to wrap in April via the next instalment of both titles, meaning that issues #19 and #21 from each title will see the end of Mission: Improbable. Combining the two titles is sure to ensue chaos from each, and will also get some new developments on each respective series. Regulars Joshua Dysart and Christos Gage are handling the writing on the Harbinger title during the crossover, along with Fred Van Lente and Pere Perez who are taking over the writing and art duties of Archer and Armstrong. Tom Raney will be illustrating the Bloodshot issues. Here are some comments from Archer and Armstrong editor John Jones on the event,
Mission: Improbable is pulling out a thread that's already been running through the background of both titles for some time – the next step was just dropping Bloodshot into the mix! Coming out of the Sect Civil War storyline in Archer and Armstrong, a lot of not-so-nice stuff will have gone down between Archer and Project Rising Spirit. By the time that the crossover kicks off, PRS will be looking for a little retaliation – even if that means framing Archer and Armstrong as delusional, homegrown terrorists and siccing the H.A.R.D Corps on them. C'mon – a 10,000-year-old immortal with a wholesome teenage assassin sidekick? Whose story are you going to believe?
The story begins in March, head over to your local comic shop and pick up some Valiant titles!
