Walking Dead Season 2 Special Effects

Going around the internet at the moment is this amazing special effects video from AMC's The Walking Dead. Wow! Just by watching the show you can tell how good the CGI is, but until you watch this video you won't realise just how much, and so clearly how good, some of the CGI work really is. That is of course if you discount the few exceptions like the CDC Center blowing up at the end of the first season. Some scenes you wouldn't even know were green screened, such as when Rick is on his walkie-talkie giving his confessional on the Atlanta rooftop. Bet you didn't know that was pure green screen CGI did you? Does make you think though why they couldn't just get him on top of a building in Atlanta, but it might have been easier than removing anything that shouldn't have been in shot.
