New Details on AXIS

To promote the upcoming AXIS event, Marvel Comics has released the other half of the promotional image revealed by Marvel's previews earlier during Diamond's Retailers Summit. This new image comes from ReedPOP's special edition NYC convention from CBR. The event will come after Original Sin, and likely take place in the fall. We put the two images together, and included the original article from when we first wrote about the villains. The heroes in the image include Storm, Medusa, Iron Man, Luke Cage, Deadpool, and Thor

Marvel has possibly announced the premise, writer, and artist for AXIS at Diamond’s Retailer Summit. What we do know is that there is an image featuring a plethora of villains with artwork that strongly suggests it is drawn by either Lee Garbett or Olivier Coipel. The villain event includes Green Goblin, Loki, Red Skull, Doctor Doom, Carnage, and Sabretooth. They are all on the teaser that Marvel is running on the front of previews. It also should be noted that Red Skull is wearing the onslaught armor that he acquired in the Uncanny Avengers. The biggest news to come out of this event is that Rick Remender is writing the series.
