Punisher Awesomeness!
Reading time: 1 minute
For all those people who were sorely disappointed by the Punisher movies, and there were many, drop what you’re doing and check out Thomas Jane’s Punisher short Dirty Laundry.
How long this little beauty will remain online is anyone’s guess as it’s totally unofficial, and while it makes no mention of Frank Castles name it does feature the memorable skull logo. Jane was the only good thing about the first movie and he gives an awesome performance here. Cold and calculating, he carries out his washing in a laundrette before delivering some bone crunching ultra violence.
Shot in a hand held style, it’s a gritty and stylish 10 minutes which leaves you longing to see more. Let’s hope that Marvel, who have recently reacquired the rights for The Punisher take note. We’d love to see what writer Chad St John and Thomas Jane could achieve with a new full length movie. The campaign starts here folks.
