Marvel has just announced a whole horde of creative team changes and new books at their recent Marvel: Next Big Thing panel at San Diego Comic-Con International 2014. The first book announced today was a brand new Spider-Woman title. This comic series was announced via the Women of Marvel panel with the creative team of Dennis Hopeless and Greg Land. The comic stars Jessica Drew and Silk, the new heroine introduced in the pages of the recent Amazing Spider-Man series. The book swings out of the Spider-Verse in November!
Brace yourself! We have a horde of new announcements on the way!

Also revealed at the show, was a S.H.I.E.L.D comic book series by none-other-than Mark Waid himself. The author has had his share of announcements this weekend with the Princess Leia title that we shared with you yesterday. The first issue features the rare debut of some fresh interiors by Carlos Pacheco himself. Comics Alliance wrote up the story and shared that the series is going to be full of done-in-one stories that tell a complete tale in the span of one issue. The team of artists is also going to be rotating in-and-out with Pacheco only doing the first comic's interiors. The Mike Deodato cover features the Avengers, The Thing, Spider-Man, Storm, and some added the cast members from the Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. television show. The promotional image for the series includes Fitz, Fitz' Monkey, Melinda May, and Skye.
Also revealed at the con was the surprise abrupt to ending to the Cyclops creative team of Russell Dauterman and Greg Rucka. The team is departing the series as of Issue #5. Joining the new book is John Layman and Javier Garon. Rucka apparently got too busy with other novel projects, and Dauterman was just announced as the new Thor artist. Bleeding Cool ran this comment from Marvel senior Editor Nick Lowe;
Really sad that Greg had to step off, but his novel schedule was getting really intense – we’ll see him back in the X-world really soon.

There are some quick bursts of other information announced at this panel such as author Jason Latour and artist Enis Cisic working on an Original Sin Annual #1. The comic is shipping in October, and focuses on the man in charge of the 'wall' before Fury.

Surprise! Charles Soule is writing another Marvel Comic! The author is tackling The Death of Wolverine: The Logan Legacy. The project is set to be a mini-series.
That's it folks! Comic-Con 2014 is a wrap! Marvel announced a heavy amount of new content, but there are plenty of interesting series to be clamoring for. Which were your favorites? Star Wars, a new Spider-Woman ongoing? Let us know in the comments below!
