We already knew that Marvel had something up their sleeve following Secret Wars, but today the publisher has shared a little bit more information about their reboot entitled ‘All-New, All-Different’ Marvel. The House of Ideas is taking their newest heroes and putting them front and center on the first teaser image shared from Mashable this evening. The image drawn by David Marquez is teasing what’s next for Marvel after Secret Wars, as the comics company is pulling their characters eight months into the future following the big event. The site also confirmed that 55 - 60 comics will be included in the initiative that sees characters wearing new costumes and forging new relationships. He confirmed that new heroes will be getting their own titles. Also teased is an All-New Hulk character.

Here’s the full quote from Marvel's Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso via Mashable:

"We've been planning it for years," said Alonso. "We realized that ['Secret Wars'] would be a game-changing moment that would allow us to create a big white canvas. It’s an unprecedented chance for us to tell new stories across all titles with new No. 1s."

Yes, it is distressing that Marvel goes from event to event, and then reboots their line with new titles almost once a year. 'Marvel NOW!' launched in 2012, followed by the softer relaunch of 'All-New Marvel NOW!' in 2013. Fortunately, the publisher waited almost two years to usher in their brand new All-New, All-Different campaign, even if it is possibly uncomfortably close to the rest of the launches to even be considered as a reboot period. With DC launching their line this week, the two publishers seem to be thinking alike lately.
