Reading time: 1 minute
Instead of sleeping, author Charles Soule is adding yet another Inhumans ongoing comic book series to the Marvel superhero line with artist John Timms entitled Inhumans: Attilan Rising. After signing a Marvel exclusive, the creator is now locked into Big Two work exclusively with Marvel. The new ongoing comic focuses on the kingdom of Attilan, it's centered with a focus on the relationship with Black Bolt and Medusa. The comic comes in the wake of Uncanny Inhumans, and the new Secret Wars teaser, which see's the Marvel Universe unite in the Battleworld. The comic ships in May.
Marvel.com announced the news, and shared this quote from Charles Soule:
“My initial concept was ‘life during wartime,’ looking at the Inhumans from almost a World War 2 French Resistance type of angle. The relationships we’re used to seeing will be different in this story. Huge drama, spies, glamour, action, betrayal, sabotage; my hope is that it won’t feel like anything else out there.”
