Simone pens "Women of Dynamite"

Red hot writer Gail Simone has been making a large splash in the comics’ industry with her current run on the highly acclaimed Red Sonja title from Dynamite. She is going to continue her reign to power by scripting the next big crossover event for Dynamite Comics featuring three different female icons in the form of Vampirella, Dejah Thoris, and last but not least--Red Sonja. The story was announced by CBR this morning, and does not have an official title yet. It has been confirmed as an event mini-series, and has been given the working title of “Women of Dynamite”. The story is coming in the wake of projects like Ron Marz’s “Prophecy” and Bill Willingham’s “Legendarry”, which is still in the middle of its run. No artist or date has been revealed for the series yet.
