Slade Wilson Returning to Arrow

Those hoping for a return of Arrow's Slade Wilson are in for a pleasant surprise: MTV reports that Manu Bennett is scheduled to return to The CW drama as Slade Wilson in 2015, appearing in the third season's fourteenth episode. That's right, he'll be making an appearance in the current season of Arrow.
When we last saw Slade, it was at the end of Arrow season two, after his defeat in Starling City. After being cured of his Mirakuru-fueled powers, he was imprisoned in an A.R.G.U.S. prison on Lian Yu, vowing to Oliver that he would find a way to escape. Has he found a way to actually escape, or will this be a flashback?
If he has managed to escape, it'll be interesting to see whether he can get his powers back, or at least some of them as a Deathstroke with some enhanced physical abilities - a kind of toned down version of Slade on the Mirakuru.
Either way, it'll be fun, as Manu Bennett was enjoyable as Slade and it'll be great to see him back.
