All things lead to DOOM: Superman Doomed #2 teases major DC Development

Superman: Doomed #2 Spoilers:
Superman Doomed will be forever known as THAT crossover the ended up delaying Action Comics from Greg Pak and Aaron Kuder to me. However, the storyline ended with a really important splash page that bleeds into what we covered last week on the site. DC is seemingly tearing off the continuity band-aid that they taped up within the New 52 for the upcoming DCU storylines. These different worlds that came about before The New 52 are finally going to be explored again. DC is already pushing for them in a big way with Justice League 3000 being the future of the Pre-New 52 Booster Gold and Blue Beetle, but now the company is teasing several different storylines making their return from that world with the upcoming Future’s End storylines. In a spread from the previously Aaron Kuder of Action Comics fame, the artist illustrates forgotten moments from the Legion of Superheroes, the older JLA, the JSA, Booster Gold, Apokolips, old Shazam, Flashpoint, Omac, old Harley Quinn, and more! The series echoes Infinite Crisis with Superman Prime punching the world of the DCU to change continuity.
Should DC continue to mercilessly reference their older continuity? Booster Gold also has a few winks and nudges towards bringing some of the old characters. Could the aforementioned Blood Moon event be bringing back some of the other members of the DCU? Are these future-based events the pre-cursor to the Crisis that DC Comics-Co publisher Dan Didio has been teasing? DC certainly has a lot of questions to answer, CBN UK will continue to post the info as the story develops.
