Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. take on The Absorbing Man in Season 2

Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. will be back on our screens near the end of September, and between series they have been increasing their ranks, even adding a superhero, Mockingbird, to the roster. It look like they’re going to need all the help they can get.

As always, with new super heroes comes new super villains, and Crusher Creel aka the Absorbing Man, will bebe taking on the team in the season premiere. Crusher Creel will be played by Brian Patrick Wade, and the character will already have his superpower - the ability to absorb and take on anything he touches - if he picks up a brick, his skin will be like a brick. Steel rod? Skin of steel. See why they'll need all the help they can get now? Especially since S.H.I.E.L.D. isn't at full strength following the events of the first season.

In the Comics, Creel has been a villain for Thor, Hulk, the assembled Avengers, and more. He's even been in a version of the Masters of Evil, a team teased lightly in the Marvel Cinematic Universe already. Nothing like starting the new season with a villain that is sure to be troublesome.
