BURGER #2: Tissue Damage

Rhonda Jones used to be a great cop - one of the best by any standards. However, she's now living out of her car after leaving her comfortable suburban home. Averaging a litre of mezcal a day, it's safe to say she has hit rock bottom. But when news of Burger's brutal murders hits the airwaves, her detective instincts kick in. Now, she has something other than booze to focus her addictive personality on and sets out on a misguided quest for redemption.

Meanwhile, Burger is searching for a face that fits - not just physically but emotionally. The problem is that nothing feels quite right; everything seems hollow. Undeterred, he digs deep and chats with Flrrgnspilliumatixus, his trusty resident brain slug, finding the motivation he needs to better himself. Maybe he should become a leader of men! That has a nice ring to it.

Now, if only he could maintain a grip on who he really was.

Do you enjoy horror that delves into the nihilistic despair rooted in the human experience? Are you drawn to body horror with manga aesthetics, layered over a grounded story about family and addiction? Are you tired of the little voice in the back of your head?
