Cosmic Lighthouse Launches Murderbot Graphic Novel on Kickstarter

Cosmic Lighthouse has announced the first-ever Murderbot graphic novel, adapting Martha Wells' international bestselling series The Murderbot Diaries. A Kickstarter campaign for the book launched today, Thursday 24th September. It offers limited collectible editions, plus a chance for fans to be drawn into the story itself. Readers who pre-register now gain access to special items and discounts unavailable elsewhere.
The book is adapted by Erica Schultz (Daredevil, Moon Knight, Rogue) from the bestselling, multi-award-winning novella All Systems Red. Gary Erskine (Dan Dare, JSA Strange Adventures, Hellblazer) provides the artwork. Colours are by Yel Zamor, and lettering by Simon Bowland. The book will be edited by Paul Cornell (Wolverine, Action Comics, I Walk With Monsters).
All Systems Red: The Graphic Novel launches as a Kickstarter Exclusive on October 15th. Retail editions will follow in early 2028. Fans are encouraged to visit the Kickstarter page here.
Jaime Jones, the artist from the original novels and novellas, has created a cover for the main edition. Variant covers come from Tommy Arnold, who worked on design for the Murderbot TV show. Further variants come from multi-award-winning artist John Picacio and celebrated artist Francesca Myman.
The Murderbot graphic novel will also contain a new short story by Martha Wells, exclusive to this edition. An introduction comes from David Dastmalchian, who plays Gurathin in the Apple TV adaptation of the book. Martha Wells is also acting as the graphic novel's script consultant.
The deal was brokered by Anthony Cronin of Cosmic Lighthouse and Jennifer Jackson of the Donald Maass Agency. It covers world rights in all languages.
