First Look: Valhallasaur from Sentinel Comics

We're huge fans of Sentinel Comics for many reasons, but the pure entertainment that the comics provide is reason enough. And if it's entertainment that you're after then how about mixing Vikings with dinosaurs in Valhallasaur? What's there not to enjoy about that sound of that?

Sentinel started with Alan Holloway and Ed Doyle. It has had a few artist changes to mix things up, but seeing Alan and Ed team up on a comic is always a delight. There wouldn't be a Sentinel Comics without them.

So... Valhallasaur (great title, by the way) is Vikings and dinosaurs if the title mix doesn't give it away. Plus a mystery third element that is being left as a surprise for readers to enjoy when the comic is released. Writer Alan Holloway has done a load of research on Viking activities to make this as authentic as possible from the Viking aspect, but considering they're going to be meeting creatures from 66 million years ago that can only go so far.

Valhallasaur is planned to be ready by the end of June so there shouldn't be too long to wait for the Kickstarter. Follow Alan Holloway on Kickstarter to be notified when that goes live. Or follow Alan (@Emceehamster), Ed (@EDDREDD) and Sentinel (@uk_comic) on Twitter for a reminder.

So, to whet your appetite for the next Sentinel issue, we have some beautiful preview images to share. Check them out and let us know what you think.
