Author: Ben Williams

Reading time: 2 minutes

Jamie Me is back on Kickstarter with his latest comic - B-Mecha! A pilot of a B-Mecha who spends every hour of the day on standby ready to suit up if a Kaiju attacks. Underfunded, over-publicized and feeling the constant pressure to meet unrealistic targets with an ever-dwindling budget.

What is this comic about?

The United Kingdom is under attack by Kaiju. These huge monsters have the power to crush us all in an instant, but we have a key line of defense against the enemy.

Engineers in the UK, in collaboration with Japan's finest, have developed piloted robots called B-Mecha. These massive machines are situated all over the country in an attempt to respond to Kaiju attacks and limit loss of life.

All B-Mecha are individually designed to suit the battle credentials and fight style of the intended pilot.

About Jamie Me

Jamie Me has written some of our favourite indie comics in recent years, with Start Again, Queen and Fabled Four. He's up there with one of our favourite UK writers, and he's teamed up with his now regular artist Neri Rearte once again - and when you see the previews below, you'll understand why Jame wants to keep working with Neri.

We recently had a Q&A with Jamie which you should definitely check out.
