Kickstarter Highlight: SpeedRun
Reading time: 2 minutes

Speedrun is a one-shot, 26-page story from Steve Thompson (Don't Let Your Dead Ones Die & The Thing That Stops The Badness). For fans of action, fast-paced thrillers, environmental issues and high concept sci-fi, there'll be something in this for you to enjoy!
About SpeedRun
Two teams from Earth, a bunch of scientists and a group of adventurers, have established 2 bases. Their mission: to exploit the planet and its unique elements.
What they didn't know when they arrived, but what keeps them trapped there now, is that this world orbits a pulsar whose radiation produces some very strange effects. And in the summertime, those effects are heightened to extraordinary degrees!
The only way to move between the 2 bases is as fast as possible. Vehicles won't work, engines fail in the ever-changing conditions, so running as fast as possible, leaping high and sliding and skidding across the surface, is the only way. And what a surface! Constantly shifting and throwing up new challenges all the time. It's so traumatic, they have to be sedated so they don't lose their minds at the kaleidoscope of terrains and creatures they'll rush through.
But what happens if they stop running? Then 'IT' will catch up to them? What is 'IT'?
The most unstoppable force in the universe.
And it will change everything.

Rewards
The lowest tier is £4 which gets you SpeedRun in PDF form. If you prefer a physical copy then it's only a small bump up to £6. £9 gives you the print version of the book but with a thicker cover that has shiny, foil highlights all over it. Everyone loves something shiny.
For £10 you get the print copy of SpeedRun and an A3 poster of the cover! And a PDF of the book.
Other tiers rise up to £17 for the book and a copy of Steve Thompsons' last Kickstarter Don't Let Your Dead Ones Die, which was a great read. If you haven't read that one, we highly recommend it and it's worth paying the extra to get it included.
