Kickstarter Highlight: System Error Volume 1 - A Post-Apocalyptic Graphic Novel

System Error Volume 1 has officially launched on Kickstarter and is available to back until Thursday, 26th February 2026. Written and drawn by Phil Chapman, prepare to embark on an adventure-filled epic robot quest. It's available as both a stunning hardback and a beautiful paperback! This is one of those Kickstarters that you don't want to miss.

When tour guide ITTO wakes to take on a new day handing out leaflets. It's confused to find out the world was not how it left it...

The story follows ITTO, a tour guide who wakes expecting an ordinary day, handing out leaflets. Only he finds out the world has shifted into something unrecognisable. An almost unrecognisable London through which he must search for a functioning power source. After locating a Tourtec support station, he replaces his core and downloads the latest software update containing an emergency factory recall with scant details as to what befell the population.

The campaign offers a variety of rewards, from the standard edition to deluxe extras for collectors. As with most Blue Fox projects, there are numerous other Blue Fox comics available. My favourite addition is the Beanie one-shot, which tells the story of a brave Beanie Barista Bot. Beanie, like ITTO, powers up during the apocalypse to find life is very different now.
