Kickstarter Spotlight: FurryPhobia - A Quick-Read Horror Comic with Bite
If you're into indie comics that blend horror with a dash of absurdity, FurryPhobia might just be what you need in your life. Created by Leeds-based duo Lily Edwards and TC Robin - both recent graduates from Leeds Arts University's Comic and Concept Art program - this one-shot horror comedy is now live on Kickstarter.

Inspired by Five Nights at Freddie's, Angel Hare & 90s Slashers, FurryPhobia follows a group of furries that aren't quite what they seem. After her grandchild dies at the hands of killer furries, an ex-dog handler grandma goes out into the night to get revenge. Not understanding what a furry is, but boy, she's about to find a lot of them. It's short, sharp, and unapologetically weird.
This marks Lily and TC's first independent comic project after university, and they aim to debut the book at this year's Thought Bubble convention in Harrogate. With just less than three weeks left in the campaign, there's plenty of time to jump in and support some fresh UK talent.

The Kickstarter offers sneak peeks, tiered rewards, and a glimpse into the creative minds behind the comic. Whether you're a fan of horror, indie storytelling, or just want to support emerging creators, FurryPhobia deserves a spot on your radar.
