New Arrow Casting Brings Hal Jordan One Step Closer

Arrow has taken a step closer to another DC Comics character, after casting the sister-in-law of Green Lantern Hal Jordon, Susan Williams, a reporter from Coast City. Williams will be played by Carly Pope (The Tomorrow People).
According to TV Insider, the Coast City reporter Susan Williams, the wife of Hal's brother, Jim in comics, comes to Star City "looking to make a name for herself" by going after Oliver Queen for a "big story", and will make her debut in the third episode of "Arrow's" fifth season.
Hopefully there'll be a few hints and nods thrown in there as well towards the a guy that would be very welcome in the DC Comics CW Universe - especially if they could build a Barry Allen/Hal Jordon friendship up.
