Preview: Judge Dredd Megazine 462
Galen Demarco, a former judge turned private investigator, is back after a four-year hiatus with a new case in Judge Dredd Megazine 462 - "A Picture Paints", by Laura Bailey and Rob Richardson. Additionally, the issue features a complete Dredd thriller penned by Ian Edginton and illustrated by Mike Collins. There is also another flashback to 2099 in "The Multitronic Man" by Arthur Wyatt and Jake Lynch. Finally, "Lawless" reaches the penultimate episode of its current arc, with a double-length finale scheduled for the next issue.
In this month's spotlight feature, the Megazine highlights two book projects that PJ Holden is working on. He collaborates with John Reppion on Fascinating Folklore, which is a guide to various legends from around the world. Additionally, he illustrates the first Skulduggery Pleasant graphic novel, Bad Magic, scripted by Derek Landy, the creator of the YA series.
There is also an exclusive interview with Rob Williams and Pye Parr about their new Image comic, Petrol Head. And Karl Stock, a regular Meg contributor, gives an unmissable look at Comic Book Punks, which sheds light on the creative comics boom from the mid-seventies to the early nineties.
