The 2000 AD Eisner nomination news is here: 2000 AD and The Treasury of British Comics have scored two 2026 Eisner Award nominations — one of the biggest honours in the comics industry. Rebellion Publishing received recognition in the Best Anthology and Best Archival Collection categories.
The Eisner Awards are presented each year at San Diego Comic-Con. They celebrate outstanding comics and graphic novel publishing from the prior year.

The 2026 Eisner Nominations
Rebellion's 2026 Eisner Award nominations are:
- Best Anthology: 2000 AD Annual 2026, edited by Oliver Pickles.
- Best Archival Collection/Project - Comic Books: Scream! The Specials 1985–2024, edited by Chiara Mestieri.
This 2000 AD Eisner nomination marks another proud moment for Rebellion Publishing. Their titles continue to be recognised on the world stage. Following the nomination, 2000 AD have pulled copies of The 2000 AD Annual from their convention inventory. It will be re-offered to readers through their webstore.

Rebellion look forward to celebrating alongside industry colleagues at Comic-Con International: San Diego in July. The very same month, the 2000 AD Sci-Fi Special 2026 lands on shelves. A full list of nominees can be found here.
We'd also like to congratulate 2000 AD Art Droid PJ Holden, nominated for Best Webcomic for Terran Omega. Rebellion's own PR Droid Steve Morris also received recognition. His website Shelfdust was shortlisted for Best Comics Journalism/Publication.
If you would like to read copies of Rebellion's Eisner-nominated releases, please contact your local comic shop. Graphic novels are also available to order via physical and digital bookstores and booksellers. It is a fantastic year for UK comics, and Rebellion's pair of nominations are thoroughly well deserved.
If you haven't got the two nominations in your collection, make sure you don't miss out by ignoring them. They're 100% worth purchasing.
