2000 AD Prog 2497: 48-Page Bumper Prog Lands 26 August
Reading time: 3 minutes
2000 AD Prog 2497 arrives on 26 August, a forty-eight-page bumper issue and the third bumper prog of 2026. September brings a new wave of stories beginning with Prog 2500, though that is still three weeks away, so stories are starting to come to a close.
The Oubliette is the one to watch. Dredd finally learns who has been holding him, after weeks of fighting upwards through the levels. Judge Rico: The Finders concludes alongside it, with Joe Fargo and Lana Locke still searching.
Brink returns for another instalment, whilst The Fall of Deadworld: Justice reaches its penultimate part, and Nightmare New York closes Book Two. Add a complete Future Shock from James Peaty and Steve Yeowell, plus a twelve-page Young Death strip from Kek-W and Sedat Oezgen, and 2000 AD Prog 2497 makes for a strong end to the month.
