The Avengers about Captain America

Joss Whedon has confirmed that the main perpective of the upcoming Avengers film will be Captain Americas'. That's not to say though that he will take up all the screen time, after all there are a lot of big characters in the film some of which made big money for Marvel. As long as Iron Man gets a good amount of screen time then it could be okay, Robert Downey Jr. has been amazing in his role so I wouldn't like to see him pushed out of the way too much.

"I set out with a very simple problem: There is no reason for these people to be in the same movie. So that's what my movie has to be about," Whedon told Entertainment Weekly. "So much of the movie takes place from Steve Rogers' perspective, since he's the guy who just woke up and sees this weird ass world. Everyone else has been living in it."

The Avengers hit cinemas on May the 4th, staring Chris Evans as Captain America, Robert Downey Jr. as Iron Man, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, who are all brought together by Samuel L. Jackson's Nick Fury to take on a large scale threat posed by Tom Hiddleston's Loki and the rumoured Skrull race. Clark Gregg, Cobie Smulders and Stellan Skarsgård also star.
