Sam Humphries Goes Marvel Exclusive
Reading time: 1 minute
Fan favorite creator Sam Humphries announced today that he is going Marvel Exclusive. The talent has been working with the publisher for the past couple of years on some highly acclaimed titles such as Uncanny X-Force, Ultimate Comics: The Ultimates, Avengers A.I. and more. With all of his past titles ending, it was announced that the author has just been given the keys to Star-Lord, which we reported on last month. Editor-in-Chief Axel Alonso shared the news in a press release given to CBR.
When I first read Sam Humphries' legendarily notorious independent one-shot Our Love Is Real, I knew I was looking at a bold new voice, And I fully expect that bold new voice to be on full display in the solo ongoing of the cosmos' most irreverent and unlikely super-hero, 'The Legendary Star-Lord'.
There will likely be more books and stories to come Humphries and Marvel in the form of new titles that simply haven’t been announced quite yet.
