Introducing Alan Moore's Electricomics Platform
Reading time: 1 minute

Alan Moore is hands down one of the greatest men who have worked in the comics’ medium. The man is set to redefine the way that we read comics with his new platform entitled Electricomics, a digital frontier that will let anyone create comics. This app has an open-sourced toolkit allowing anybody to create digital content with relative ease. His company stated the application is not just for consumers-but also anyone with an interest to work in the medium, including established comics pros.
Rather than simply transferring comic narrative from the page to the screen, we intend to craft stories expressly devised to test the storytelling limits of this unprecedented technology. To this end we are assembling teams of the most cutting edge creators in the industry and then allowing them input into the technical processes in order to create a new capacity for telling comic book stories.

It will then be made freely available to all of the exciting emergent talent that is no doubt out there, just waiting to be given access to the technical toolkit that will enable them to create the comics of the future.
The four titles coming soon from Electricomics in a 32-page comic include; a reboot of Little Nemo entitled Big Nemo by Alan Moore, which takes place in the coveted 1930’s; Cabaret Amygdala, which is a horror work from the author known as Peter Hogan; Red Horse is a work by comics legend Garth Ennis with art by Peter Snejbjerg, as they both return to World War 1; and -Leah Moore and John Reppion are creating Sway, a brand new science fiction work.
