2000 AD Prog 2487 Preview - A Bumper Issue Packed with Dredd, Brink & Deadworld

Author: Ben Williams

Reading time: 3 minutes

2000 AD Prog 2487 is another of the year's bumper issues, packing double-length helpings of both Judge Dredd and Helium into a single, action-packed package. Alongside those extended strips, this week's Galaxy's Greatest Comic also delivers the conclusion of Judge Dee, the latest chapter of Brink, and a complete standalone Thistlebone prose story from the regular creative team of T.C. Eglington and Simon Davis.

The headline addition, however, is the long-awaited launch of Justice. This is the next arc in The Fall of Deadworld saga, brought to you by the series' regular creative duo of writer Kek-W and artist Dave Kendall. If you've yet to catch up on this apocalyptic epic (no shame - there's a lot of ground to cover when the Dark Judges are involved), the good news is that 2000 AD Prog 2487 isn't the only thing heading your way - a chunky omnibus collecting all previous series arrives in September. Pre-orders are open now at shop.2000AD.com. Everyone should be picking this up, though, as it'll be stunning. Gruesome, but stunning.
