Joe Kubert, best known for drawing DC's Hawkman and Sgt. Rock, has passed away at 85 where he was still drawing amazingly well. The below Hawkman image only drawn in 2011 is stunning and just shows the talent that the industry legend had. He's had a long, distinguished career which has included drawing, writing and editing, including fully writing and illustrating original graphic novels in the past several years.
