Superman Unchained

Superman is 75 years old, and what better time than now to release a comic that has a good creative team behind it, and a good plot line too. Scott Snyder has been hitting it out of the ball park with Batman and before he left, Swamp thing too. He now has his eyes on the Man of steel. Him and DC's top man: Jim Lee have launched a new Superman series titled 'Unchained'.

The Comic is great, it shows a much smarter Clark than we have been seeing recently in the New 52, and the 'pull out poster' is beautiful as well.

This team of Great creators, including backup artist Dustin Nguyen, who is my favourite artist in comics make a great first issue, and I am intrigued to see where this strange plot is headed...

9/10

Jimmy, Lois and Clark's relationship is great in this story, but because of Superman's situation with the Daily Planet in the New 52, I didn’t feel like this was too great of a jump on point for people coming straight of the movie to read this issue.
