The Flash 'Fallout' Review: Barely Allen
Reading time: 2 minutes

The Flash is now heading towards an endgame with last week’s bombshell reveal. With a horde of new information, let’s see what happens next with this complicated cat-and-mouse game with Barry and Harrison.
Spoilers coming in a......FLASH!
Ronnie Raymond doesn’t melt my heart.
The big question when the episode begins is: what happened to Ronnie Raymond. The metahuman is now back in the fold again. This means the show no longer has to awkwardly juggle the two characters interlocked together. Caitlin seems to have immediately resumed his relationships with her fiance. Raymond and Professor Stein have a very interesting relationship with each other. They more or less play a classic scene of good cop/bad cop.
Watch Joe’s final moments.
Joe starts really pushing the buttons of his own morality when he brings Barry to the scene of the crime from last week. The awkward milf from last episode seems to be not at her house? So Barry and Joe are just randomly breaking in? The Detective reveals that the second speedster is actually Barry. Things get tense when Barry tries to convince Joe that Wells had nothing to with the murder. If only Joe believed him, then maybe his corpse wouldn’t be riddling the finale of this season.
Iris is now drawn to Well’s insanity.
Iris’ venture into the newsroom is actually getting interesting involving her dynamics with her fellow newsteam rapidly changing. Her storyline is now tying into the plot directly, as the men from the newspaper suspects Harrison of blowing up the particle accelerator with malicious intentions. This is a pretty massive leap in logic that he would suspect Harrison of this. However, getting Iris investigating the cast is a really plot direction for this show to go in. Iris is catching up to The Flash operation really quickly.
The full potential of the speed force.
After Barry is wounded with a slew of nails, the show goes about investigating what would happen to Barry if he was wounded in numerous places. The question becomes: do his wounds heal incorrectly with the nails blocking his skin? The way that the show operates with these big questions placed with the physicality of Barry have always been one of my favorite parts of The Flash.
Stray Notes and Observation:
-The plot of this episode is getting more and more off-the-wall, as the military generals have something to do with Grodd.
-Ronnie’s costumed has finally merged together correctly, and looks sharp with the matrix in the middle.
-Cisco making fun of Caitlin for having such a weird relationship is a nice self aware moment for the show.
- To quote Valeria Richards in her secret message to her father from the Avengers franchise who said something like “it’s time to figure out how to lose.” Joe and Barry come to the same conclusion here.
-All hope lies in Grodd, as we are first shown that Harrison is indeed Reverse-Flash.
-Then we get the best line in all of the show, you know what it is.
