Batman Day 2015
Reading time: 1 minute
DC Entertainment have announced plans to bring back "Batman Day" later this year. To make this news even better, it falls on my birthday - 26th September. After the success of DC's 2014 event in July which celebrated 75 years of the Dark Knight, DC will be continuing the Bat-bash, as they honour all things Batman.

Like last year, Batman Day will be celebrated at participating comic book shops, libraries and bookstores, and Batman Day-specific promotional items are scheduled to be available as part of the event. While no specifics have been announced yet, DC names Jim Lee, Grant Morrison, Scott Snyder, David Finch, Brian Azzarello, Dustin Nguyen, Cameron Stewart, Pat Gleason, Tom King, Tim Seeley, Dan Jurgens, Jeff Parker, Daniel Wallace and Matthew Manning as among the talent slated to appear at various events.
Licensees Capstone, Penguin Random House, Scholastic and DK Publishing will partner with DC for Batman Day merchandise. This is now being called an annual event, so a return in 2016 is very likely - whether it will keep the same date every year is unknown though, but I'm hoping it will stay the same as it makes that day so much cooler.
