Hellbound Media Unveils "Men of the Cloth" - A Folk Horror Graphic Novel Heading to Kickstarter
Reading time: 2 minutes
The next big graphic novel from Hellbound Media is a folk horror tale set to send shivers down readers' spines. "Men of the Cloth" is the perfect horror story for the start of summer, drawing on the eerie tradition of The Wicker Man, Lair of the White Wyrm, and Midsommar.

They say you can't go home - but that's exactly what Lance Dunham is trying to do. He drags his wife Shelley and their kids back across the Atlantic to England, the country of his birth. To visit the village where his late mother once lived, Camlin.
Tucked away in the wilds of the English countryside, Camlin is far from any safe haven. It's here that photographer Lance uncovers more about his heritage than he bargained for. He also crosses paths with the unsettling figures known only as the "Men of the Cloth" - and his life will never be the same again.
The graphic novel adapts the original novelette by Paul Kane, the writer behind Sherlock Holmes and the Servants of Hell and Hellbound Hearts. Kane's novelette also formed the basis for the hit film Sacrifice, starring Barbara Crampton. He has adapted the script himself for this edition, with stunning artwork from James Gray (Star Trek, Gerry Anderson's Project Sword, Clockwork Werewolves).
