New Comic Series Beginning In June

Are you on the hunt for some new series to start reading? Sure you are. Broaden your horizons. There are plenty of new comic series starting in June, either at the #1 issue or starting a new story arc. Here, we will look at some of the hottest upcoming series.
DC Comics

Green Lantern: The Lost Army #1
Imagine waking up in a strange place where you didn't recognize anything, and everyone you knew and loved was nowhere to be found. Now imagine that you are a Green Lantern. The rest of the Corps is missing, you don't know where you are and there's not a Power Battery to be found for as far as your ring can scan. Where are you? How did you get here? Those are just two of the many questions facing our heroes.

Bizarro #1 (of 6)
Bizarro, star of worstest comic ever! Go ahead and miss it! You'll hate it.
Nah, it'll be fun. It's Bizarro afterall. Make sure that you don't miss the start of this six-issue all-ages miniseries!

Constantine The Hellblazer #1

Everyone's favorite version of the X-Men from the '90s is back! When Baron Kelly charges the Clear Mountain Project and it's mysterious new director with 'mutant rehabilitation,' it's up to the X-Men to investigate!

Groot #1
For the first time ever, the most famous talking-tree-thing in the Marvel Universe is starring in his own series! You might recognize him from Guardians of the Galaxy, the biggest movie of 2014.
When Rocket and Groot are on an intergalactic roadtrip and calamity strikes, the two get separated - and for the first time in years, Groot's on his own! Maybe don't expect too much dialogue.

The first issue of a shared fantasy universe. Sharp genderqueer knights, blood magic, music, dancing, and a goose.
New Story Arcs
So now that the new series are out of the way, how about some new story arcs?

Flash #41 (DC Comics)
Professor Zoom is back, and he's not alone! Who's along for the ride to kill the fastest man alive? If you've not been following The Flash series, the art by Norm Rapmund and Brett Booth have been superb!

Unity #19 (Valiant)
ALL-NEW ARC! ALL-NEW VILLAIN! X-O MANOWAR RETURNS... AND THE WAR-MONGER RISES! Unity has faced every evil that's come at them and lived… but can they survive humankind's darkest menace?
