Quantum No.8 is the second issue of the anthology's second year. It's available for purchase exclusively at newsagents and through the Quantum Prime subscription. This ongoing series has received praise for its high-quality content and for revitalizing the presence of comics in high-street stores.

In this latest issue

Major Rakhana sees the Victorian Space Ace beginning a perilous new mission on Mars (writer Steve Tanner, line art Roland Bird, colours John Charles, letters Rob Jones).

WesterNoir: Dead End continues with Cassidy encountering more horrors that plague a western border town (writer Jemma West, art Gareth Sleightholme).

The Very Strange Reappearance of Peter Thomson sees Peter test his ability in a whole new way (writer Dave West, art Gustaffo Vargas).

The Baker Street Irregulars, where the bizarre angel continues to cause chaos (story, art David Morris, inks Patrick O'Connor).

Kingdom, complete this issue, where a mechanical outcast tries to find acceptance in the circus. (writer Dave West, art El Indio).

Alongside these exciting stories, Quantum continues to highlight the British indie comic book industry, and this month's issue features an article on the long-running news and reviews website Down the Tubes.

Quantum is also available directly via a Quantum Prime subscription through Time Bomb's Patreon page. As well as the Quantum Comic, subscribers receive an exclusive extra with each issue, such as limited-edition releases and unique merch produced just for Quantum Prime subscribers. To avoid directly competing with newsagents, the issues of Quantum sent out as part of the Quantum Prime initiative also have special variant covers.

Quantum No.8 is available in newsagents from Thursday 20th June, priced at £6.99.
