The series blends psychological sci‑fi with layered storytelling. It follows five aliens who flee their dying planet in search of a new home, only to arrive on Earth and find it deserted. Earth is a barren wasteland abandoned by humanity. The only clues left behind are a series of mysterious comics documenting the planet's downfall. Oh, and a half-dead creature kept alive by unknown means.

As the group struggles to piece together what happened, a shadowy figure begins pulling strings from afar. Unaware of the forces at play, the five heroes may hold the fate of the entire universe in their hands. Through its ensemble cast, The Last Arrival explores the fragile boundary between reality and fiction.
