Tripwire Comics Presents Launches Its First Comics Anthology on Kickstarter
Reading time: 1 minute
Tripwire Comics Presents returns with a bold new project as Stripwire Presents launches its first-ever comics anthology on Kickstarter. This 100‑page collection brings together the very best comic strips published in the Tripwire print magazine since 2007. It showcases a who's who of UK, US and Irish indie creators.
Alongside fan‑favourite work, the anthology features rare material, debut strips and exclusive content. It also includes a full‑colour Sherlock Holmes and The Empire Builders short.

After the huge success of Into White: The Art of George Pratt, Tripwire has decided to try something a little different. For its thirteenth Kickstarter project, Stripwire Presents takes a deep dive and represents the cream of comic strips run in the Tripwire print magazine strip section since 2007. All in one handsome 100-page volume.
"The line-up reads like a veritable who's who of UK, US and Irish indie comic creators," Tripwire editor-in-chief Joel Meadows points out.
Here's the list: Brent Anderson, Jasper Bark, Andy Bennett, Kody Chamberlain, John Charles, Joshua Hale Fialkov, Marty Grosser, Frazer Irving, Roger Langridge, Joel Meadows, Andy Meanock, Rob Moran, David Morris, Paul N Neal, Tom Newell, Ian D Peterson, Matthew Plog, Paul Rafferty, Declan Shalvey, Mike Walters and Lyndon Webb."
It also includes a few strips which are seeing the light of day for the first time. Just as a fun bonus here. There will be a full-colour Sherlock Holmes and The Empire Builders short, which has only been seen in the UK's Shift magazine before. Plus, there is work from David Morris, which will be debuting here, too. And also a cover from Frazer Irving that people haven't seen before either.
The campaign launched on 3 February, and it's just over halfway funded. Here are a few more sample pages to enjoy.
