Last summer, "Sherlock Holmes and The Empire Builders The Gene Genie Vol.1" was a huge hit on Zoop and more than doubled its target. This June, Zoop is launching "Sherlock Holmes and The Empire Builders The Gene Genie Vol.2" with covers by Dan Panosian (Conan) and Kelley Jones (Batman, Dracula). If you fancy a glimpse before then, the upcoming Tripwire print magazine, currently funding on Kickstarter, will provide readers with a first look at the next Holmes graphic novel.

"We have always used Tripwire as a testing ground for our Holmes strip and so this is why we thought it was the perfect place to debut pages from the next instalment."

In the latest edition of Tripwire magazine, there's an interview with Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips, who have been collaborating for 25 years exclusively for Image. They also provide a sneak peek of their Criminal comic, which is set to air on Amazon later this year.

The magazine also features a celebration of Mad Cave Studios' 10th anniversary as a US indie publisher, which is now the home of iconic comics such as Flash Gordon and Dick Tracy.

It looks back at the 40-year history of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with Kevin Eastman, the co-creator of the series.

The final segment includes their 101 Greatest Comic Artists Of All Time, counting down to Number One, and the popular strip section Stripwire, which includes a preview of Sherlock Holmes And The Empire Builders Volume Two by Tripwire editor-in-chief Joel Meadows and artist Andy Bennett.
