Wonder Woman is cast

If recent news reports are to be believed, then we will be seeing Wonder Woman in the Man of Steel sequel, and she's been cast already. Gal Gadot of Fast & Furious fame (she's appeared in 3 of them) has been cast in the role of DC Comics icon Wonder Woman and secret identity Diana Prince.
This will be Wonder Woman's highly anticipated feature film debut, having previously only appeared live-action television.
Fans already excited about seeing Batman and Superman on the big screen at the same time now also have to consider how Wonder Woman will fit in, since it's meant to be Batman vs Superman. With any luck it won't be much of a role, just a cameo at the end. It'd be better to save her properly for the third film. Don't put too much into the second film, it can ruin things sometimes.
Up until now, speculation that Wonder Woman was set to appear in the Man of Steel sequel was nothing but speculation. Zack Snyder's statement today seems to confirm though that Wonder Woman will indeed be making an appearance.
"Wonder Woman is arguably one of the most powerful female characters of all time and a fan favorite in the DC Universe. Not only is Gal an amazing actress, but she also has that magical quality that makes her perfect for the role. We look forward to audiences discovering Gal in the first feature film incarnation of this beloved character."
Still think Jamie Alexander should have been Wonder Woman, but oh well.
