Announcing the Christopher Priest and M.D. Bright Quantum and Woody Omnibus and Reunion!

Valiant Comics’ highly coveted Quantum and Woody series are two centerpieces of the Valiant Universe. The James Asmus scripted new adventures have been acclaimed (sorry for the pun) by the comics’ industry in full. Today the publisher shined the spotlight on the older adventures of the two new heroes by announcing plans to share some of the prior material from the original comic created in the late nineties by Christopher Priest and M.D. Bright. The comics’ company also announced even more new material from the upcoming Q2 project that Priest and Bright group are working on together. CBR ran the new information this morning. Q2: The Return of Quantum and Woody #1 is shipping on October 1st, marking the reunion of the original material by the fabled storytellers. CBR noted that this makes the first reunion for the two characters and creators for a staggering 20 years. Editor Alejandro Arbona chimed in with the following quotation:
As a longtime Quantum and Woody fan, this project is a dream come true, as is diving into the material and working with these amazingly talented creators, he states. Getting in all-new scripts and all-new art of the new adventures of Eric Henderson and Woody Van Chelton is surreal. Quantum and Woody are back!
Author Christopher Priest caught readers up to speed on the lives of Quantum and Woody.
Woody has gone on to other things. He's not doing the hero bit anymore. Eric continued being Quantum for quite a while, but he actually stopped being Quantum for a number of years and no one has seen the masked vigilante Quantum in quite a while.
