Titan Comics announces the third Doctor Who ongoing starring the Twelfth Doctor

Titan Comics’ new acquisition of the Doctor Who license from IDW in January has brought about two ongoing series from the publisher. The two series focus on the tenth and eleventh Doctors. With Peter Capaldi just named as the 12th Doctor, Titan Comics has now just revealed a new ongoing series with the newest Time Lord as the star. There is no debut date for the new Time Lord's adventures on television, but fans can expect the Doctor Who ongoing comic series to head over to comic book stores on October 1st. Robbie Morrison is tackling the writing duties for the title with Dave Taylor on pencils. Alice X. Zhang drew the standard cover featuring Capaldi in his brand new suit. There are a total of six covers for the first issue being made available to retailers. Unfortunately because of strange licensing deals that were previously made, the first issue may only be made available digitally to fans in the UK and Ireland. CBR reported on the news this afternoon. With companion Clara Oswald being prominently featured on the first cover, it is a safe bet that she will star in the new title.
